What happened to the 1896 house in Williamstown?
One actually passes through the 1896 House property when traveling to Williamstown via Route 7, the scenic corridor to it’s south. In 2000, six new luxury “ Barnside Suites ” were constructed in the former banquet hall where Williamstown Theatre Festival held its famous Cabaret.

We were looking for a place to house our guests where we could share dinner on the premises, and we knew that the 1896 House was both convenient and pleasantly-located by the brook. Some of the reviews we read concerned us, but our conversations with the staff were reassuring, and the event itself was a complete success.
