Good Items To Have
As with every island design project, the scale of your endeavor is up to you. The size you choose will determine how many items you need, so make sure to plan accordingly! Remember that if you involve the Island Designer tool or other existing infrastructure on the island, the entire project will be a bit more time-consuming to complete.
Prepare A Plot Of Land
First, choose where your cafe will go. The scale of your cafe will change drastically depending on if you choose to have two floors and what you make the walls out of! It's also possible to renovate your house and turn it into a cafe as well.
Pave The Floor
Lay down the floor for your cafe before placing furniture! This will make the entire process much easier, as you can see exactly how much space you're dealing with. It's also easier to partition the area into sections this way!
Plan Your Table & Chair Layout
Once your backroom employee space is finished, set up the tables and chairs for customers! Don't be content only with tables and chairs - try adding a shelf of spices and seasoning, or a place for customers to drop off their dishes to make your cafe even more real!
Make A Sign
Any good cafe must have a fancy sign to draw customers in - use Custom Designs to draw your own logo or use an existing one online!
Our Writer's Cafe
I was going for a realistic cafe here. I made a second floor and made it an exclusive dine-in area. This particular design required a huge amount of wood, which was tough. I hope you can use even a part of my cafe to help inspire your own designs!
