Agnes is an all-day café and boutique grocery. We are inspired by neighbors and friends and the good times to be had over good food and drink.
Who is Agnes in Auntie Mame?
The name was inspired by Carolyn’s mother and aunt, whose nickname for each other is “Agnes” after Agnes Gooch, the dowdy secretary in the movie Auntie Mame who has one glorious night out - with disastrous consequences.
