What is the bar at Aparima Beach?

Aparima Beach side Bar. At the main pool on the beach, you can swim up to the bar and relax on an in-the-water stool with an ice cold Hinano beer, Tahitian cocktail or a healthy fresh fruit juice of the day. The bar serves up burgers, club sandwiches and pizzas, all afternoon.

Bora-Bora Nightlife

Bora-Bora isn’t famous for nightlife, but there are a few ways to enjoy the evening, island style.

Sunset Bar

The Sunset Bar at the Four Seasons is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails or a meal and enjoy the sunset. The bar is situated over the lagoon with a view of Mount Otemanu. They serve a variety of mixed drinks, wine, beer, champagne and tropical drinks as well as food. It’s a great place to unwind and just watch the night begin after sunset.

Aparima Bar

The Aparima Bar at the St. Regis Resort is a good place to grab a drink, have some food and just relax. The bar is quite large and has plenty of seating with views of the beach and a pool bar. The menu is detailed in a huge blue book as big as a dictionary.

Sunset Cruise

When you stay around Point Matira you can only see the sunrise. If you want to see the sunset, take a sunset cruise. The catamaran will pick you up at the pier of your hotel around 4:30 pm and will bring you to the other side of the island where you can admire an amazing sunset.

Getting to the St. Regis Bora Bora

To get to the St. Regis you first have to fly to Bora Bora. Once you arrive, all the hotels have welcome desks, so we quickly found the St. Regis welcome desk.

St. Regis Bora Bora lobby & concierge

As you might expect, a vast majority of the public areas of the hotel are outdoors, both given Polynesian design, and also just generally given the beautiful surroundings. When we arrived at the dock there was a pathway leading up towards reception.

St. Regis Bora Bora pools

The St. Regis Bora Bora has two pools. There’s the main pool, located near the beach. It’s quite large, though in my opinion feels kind of outdated and uninspiring, and not very St. Regis-esque.

St. Regis Bora Bora beach, ocean, and lagoon

The real reason you come to Bora Bora is for the beach and ocean, and that’s one area where this hotel most definitely doesn’t disappoint. The beach is gorgeous, and the water is crystal clear. I’ll let the pictures speak mostly for themselves.

St. Regis Bora Bora gym

The hotel has a sufficient 24/7 gym, which is located near the land villas.

St. Regis Bora Bora spa

As you’d expect, the St. Regis Bora Bora has a spa, which is operated by Clarins. We didn’t get any treatments while here (goodness knows we were spending enough already), though here’s the spa menu:

St. Regis Bora Bora breakfast

Our rate at the St. Regis Bora Bora included breakfast, though otherwise we could have gotten breakfast due to my Marriott elite status.
