What kind of food is available at the CAF?
Many of the stations are set up to allow our team of highly trained Chefs to prepare food right in front of your eyes! the caf offers a wide variety of meals that rotate on a regular basis. These meals can range from Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Asian Stir Fry’s, and Local Ontario sourced meals, to Curry Fried Rice and Japanese Eggplant.
What are the hours of operation for the CAF?
We are open Monday – Sunday from 7:30am – 10:00pm! We will be closing the caf between 10:30am-11:00am and between 4:00pm-4:30pm as we switch meal periods.
How many times per hour can I eat on the CAF?
To ensure that all meal-plan holders can receive timely service, we would ask students to limit their meals to once per hour. The caf will be offering a streamlined menu to ensure speed of service while we operate as take-out only.
Does the Caf have peanuts?
the caf does not use any peanut or tree nuts in our recipes and we do not purchase food products with peanuts or tree nuts in the ingredient list. There is always a risk of outside cross contamination so we advise our guests with severe allergies let us know about their concerns.
Is the Caf closed for summer?
the caf is currently closed for the summer. We look forward to welcoming back students this fall with resumed caf operations. Summer meal plan offerings will served from Oasis, located on the first floor of the Residence Commons Building. the caf caters to a wide variety of dietary needs.
