What to eat at Bascom’s Chophouse?
We chose Bascom’s Chophouse for our first In restaurant meal since Covid. They had gone to great lengths to make diners comfortable with distanced, limited seating. The shared the crab cake and billionaire bacon appetizers. Our entrees were NY strip and ribeye.

Why was Bascom important to Henry Flagler?
Good for Anniversaries. When the original Bascom came to Florida at the turn of the last century to help Henry Flagler build the Key West Railroad, he brought with him his love for thick cut chops and juicy steaks. During his travels he also discovered the bounties of fresh native Florida seafood.
Is Pam's bacon appetizer good?
As usual, Pam provided outstanding service. Food was fabulous. The bacon appetizer is sinfully delicious. Everyone loved their entrees. I decided not to order steak this time, so I had the sea bass. It was wonderful. Would definitely order it again.
