Do you have to make reservations for the clam tavern?
First of all, make reservations if you go on a weekend. This place is very popular, and you need to reserve a spot in order to enjoy the food. Unfortunately, we did not and ate at the restaurant next door, which is owned by the same company and serves the same food (and will give you the Clam Tavern menu if you ask).

What is the food like at the clam chowder restaurant?
Now the food; I had dined on, NE Clam Chowder that had a nice consistency and appearance. I had a piece of clam with every spoonful. The Mussels were good in the white sauce and their were a lot of them. Main entree, Caesar Salad with Lump Crab Meat.
Does the clam Tavern have fried flounder?
I have not been to dinner at the Clam Tavern in years and from reading the reviews we decided to have dinner on Saturday. Drove all the way from King of Prussia. I was so disappointed the fried combination had no taste and was fried. to well done. My husbands fried flounder he said was very fresh, but no taste. Needless to say we will not be back.
