River Rendezview
Welcome to the River Rendezview Resort, which includes Dido’s Restaurant, Yellowstone Paddlewheeler, Bed & Breakfast, Party Barn, Bunkhouse & Marina. We are located on the San Bernard River only 60 minutes south of Houston. We are known for our southern hospitality and country charm.
Our Amenities
Dido’s Restaurant has been serving the community for 38 years. We boast a 150 capacity in the dining room, 250 on the patio, and 50 in the Magnolia Room. Dido’s specializes in fresh gulf shrimp, catfish, and some of the best gumbo you’ve ever tasted. Our catering menu is extensive, including Tex-Mex, Italian, Steaks, BarBQ, and of course Seafood.

Excellent service and a great meal. Our waiter kept our glasses topped off, and checked on us often. The food was hot and delicious. The portions were plentiful and served in a timely manner. Thanks for a great experience. We will defintely be back.
Experience the San Bernard River
The owners are Nancy & Fred Kanter. They have lived in the area for over 40 years. They married in 1983 & always knew they wanted to live on the river and in 2001 their prayers were answered. Both enjoy cooking, visiting and entertaining people and in 2013 they purchased Dido’s Restaurant.
