How did fezzo’s Seafood Steakhouse get its name?
In July 1999, twenty years to the month later, Phil and Pat opened their first restaurant. When it came time to decide on the name, it was clear. In honor of Phil’s dad, they named it Fezzo’s Seafood, Steakhouse, and Oyster Bar.

Our Story
A long time ago when Phil’s father was a young boy in Church Point, Louisiana, he was very creative with his toys. His favorite toys were things he made with his mother’s empty wooden spools. In Cajun French, the word for these wooden spools is ‘Fezzo’.
