- George + Dragon Best of British Menu. Lunch. We’re open Wednesday – Sunday for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm (4pm on Sundays). Our lunch menu has something for everyone, from light bites that are quick and tasty, to classic dishes including our popular George + Dragon burger.

When did George and the Dragon start?
Established in 2012. We started working on George and the Dragon in the summer of 2011. Driven by our desire to work with people we enjoy in a laid back yet professional environment while creating fabulous food, we left our long term jobs in the restaurant industry to set out on our own.

Lunch
We’re open every day of the week for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm (3pm on Sundays). Our lunch menu has something for everyone, from light bites that are quick and tasty, to classic dishes including our popular George + Dragon burger. Every Sunday our chef uses local meat to produce a delicious lunch that is the talk of the town.
Dinner
We serve dinner from 6pm to 8.30pm Sunday to Thursday, 6 – 9pm Fridays and Saturdays. Our menu is ‘the best of British.’ Locally sourced. Our dinner menu stretches from classics to contemporary specials that will delight families, parties and romantic ‘weekending’ couples alike.
