In the escape menu there is a little arrow in the bottom right corner. That will take you back to the main menu. Well yeah I know that because when I asked that question there was no back to the main menu button at the time.

How do I get back to the main menu?

  • To exit any app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
  • Now you're back to the last Home screen you were on.
  • To get back to your primary Home screen, swipe up one more time.
  • Here you are, back at your main Home screen!

How to get my Start Menu Back?

You can get some of the way there by moving the centered apps to the left of the taskbar:

  • Right-click on the taskbar and click on “Taskbar settings”
  • Select “Taskbar behaviors”
  • Look for “Taskbar alignment” and click on the button on the right where it says “Center.” Select “Left” instead.
  • Close the settings window, and you’ll see that the app icons in the taskbar have moved to the left, with the Start menu icon in the corner.

Hit the down arrow on your keyboard a couple of times. The in game menu is scrolling and as such not all menu items are in immediate view. I know I've hit 'quit' on a few occasions already, so it's definitely there.
