Hancock St is the latest restaurant from Ubercreative chef Josh Capon of Lure and Bowery Meat Company fame. Hancock St is in the space was previously Capon's El Toro Blanco. Chef Capon sought to go too upscale with El Toro Blanco, so while it was a culinary success it never was a commercial one. Hancock St is an American restaurant with awesome cocktails and great pasta dishes. Hancock St is on its way to doing what El Toro Blanco never did, quickly becoming a destination restaurant.
