What is the Kaufman Tavern in Zelienople like?
Haven't been here in years, way back when it was the Kaufman House. Today the refreshed Kaufman Tavern is a beautiful old building in downtown Zelienople. Parking is on the street. At the entry is a big bar and a majestic staircase. The Tavern has several large rooms for diners or events.
Is the Kaufman house still in use?
It has been a long time since I ate here when it was known as the Kaufman House. The place is now set up for outdoor dining in the back as well as indoor dining. As I entered I was greeted by a friendly masked hostess who promptly sat me in one of the rustic tables in the main dining room.

Food that we received was good, however they were sold out of my first two choices (the lamb, and filet). Service is very slow. Over an hour to receive our food. If you're in a hurry this isn't the place for you.
