How much does lunch cost in Knox County Schools?

Knox County Schools takes part in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. Healthy meals are served every school day. Eligible students may receive meals free or at a reduced price of $0.40 for lunch and/or $0.30 for breakfast for both elementary and secondary schools.

What meals are included in the KCS meal plan?

This includes one breakfast and one lunch per student per day. A la carte items and extra portions are not included; however, those items can still be purchased with cash or funds on a student’s account.
