Fried green tomatoes fly
We started, appropriately, with the starters, zeroing in on the fried green tomatoes. A staple of Southern cooking, it's something you rarely see on a menu around town. Fried green tomatoes are just that — green (as in under-ripe) tomatoes that are sliced, breaded and then fried.
Pizza worthy of a spot as a pinch hitter
Next, we went for a pizza. Again, here is a dish where quality and craftsmanship can really shine and even the simple can be divine. We went for the pepperoni lovers.
Ribs put up a fight
With Mike Miller’s Memphis connections, it seems like a natural for him to be the ambassador of Memphis-style ribs back here in his home state. Not quite every place that does BBQ here in the US of A gets noted as its own style. Memphis, though, is one such place and it is known for ribs. The Memphis twist involves dry rub.
