What is simple servings at Marist?
It is managed by Marist Dining Services employees. All foods offered at the Simple Servings station are free of milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts and gluten. With Simple Servings, students can comply with food allergy or other dietary concerns without feeling singled out.
What is included in the dining hall?
The dining hall includes a fresh salad and protein bar, a yogurt bar, hot cereal, cold cereal, hand fruit, a create-your-own waffle station, daily soups, a homestyle station, the Marist Bakery, a international station, a vegetarian station, made-to-order grill and pasta stations, a Boar's Head Deli and a pizza station.
How many calories are in mindful offerings?
Each meal part is limited in calories, has fewer than 30% of calories as fat, fewer than 10 % of calories as saturated fat, and is restricted in sodium, and cholesterol.
What is simple servings?
Simple Servings is the 8-Allergen-Free hot lunch and dinner station served at the Dining Hall flat top grill. It is managed by Marist Dining Services employees. All foods offered at the Simple Servings station are free of milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts and gluten. With Simple Servings, students can comply with food allergy or other dietary concerns without feeling singled out. They won’t have to go off campus for their meals or miss out on dining with their friends while waiting for the chef to specially prepare their meals. Straight forward preparation techniques assure transparency of ingredients, and help the student prepare to be responsible for their own shopping and cooking in future. The hot lunch and dinner menu change daily and include varied protein options: beef, chicken and turkey. The daily menu will feature allergen-free proteins such as grilled chicken and hamburgers. All side dishes are vegan, containing no milk, eggs, or meat products
What time does the Cabaret deliver?
Note the following: The Cabaret offers delivery pickup to Zones 1-5 from 5:00-10:00pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Marketplace will offer delivery pickup service from 5:00-10:00pm daily (no walk-up service). North End Dining offers delivery pickup to Zones 1-3 from 4:00pm-9:00pm daily.
Is there gluten free pizza at the dining hall?
In the Dining Hall, gluten free alternatives are available to order at the pizza, pasta and deli stations on a daily basis. Several items such as our rotisserie chicken and salmon are also made daily with gluten free seasonings. Gluten Free options can also be selected for catered events.
