Noboru Nakamura. Noboru Nakamura has spent his entire 34-year career working in sushi restaurants. He began his career as a sushi chef in Greenwich Village in New York City. He moved to Chicago in 1988 and became a restaurant manager and in January of 2009, opened Nobori Sushi.
