The Open Door is dedicated to providing delicious, wholesome food, exquisite wine and engaging service. The vision for the Open Door was born from the joy that co-owner and founder Julia Rickards found cooking and entertaining for guests in her home.

How do I Reserve the open door?

Please make your reservation by phone. During Folk Festival Weekend, beginning October 1st at 4pm through Sunday October 3rd, The Open Door will be reserved for ticket holders only. We will not have open seating available for non-ticket holders throughout the weekend.

How do I make a reservation for an open door event?

If you would like to make a reservation please call 541.549.6076. Our venue will also have an open seating area for listening (drinks available for purchase in this area), and this section is first come first serve. How many people can sit in the courtyard at the open door?

The Courtyard at the Open Door features two artist studios, a beautiful wooden stage, fully functional propane fireplace and seating for up to 125 in a quaint garden-esque setting.
