When will the free lunch program be extended?
Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service has again extended the free student meals program, providing a free breakfast and lunch option for students until June 30, 2021, or until the USDA confirms that funding is no longer available , whichever comes first. As a result, student breakfast and lunch will be free on the days that students are learning at school face-to-face, and the days that students are learning virtually.
Is there an ala carte meal in OHS?
Ala carte and snack items are not included in the free meal program and will remain available for purchase. OHS students will NOT have a free meal option available unless a student qualifies for, and enrolls in, the Free and Reduced Meal Program.
