To educate palates, inspire culinary curiosity and nourish the health of the community through school meals. The Portland Public Schools Nutrition Service program is committed to serving delicious, nutrient-rich meals featuring whole foods. We are working with farmers and food suppliers to minimize the use of seven ingredients.

Allergy Information PPS Nutrition Services provides menu information with carbohydrate counts and the following major allergens which are required by federal labeling laws: milk, eggs, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat/gluten, and soybeans. This menu information will allow users to better understand the nutritional content of the foods available.

School Breakfast and Lunch Menus
Due to extreme supply chain deficiencies and ongoing labor shortages with manufacturers and distributors across the country as a result of COVID-19, the Department of Food Service cannot guarantee menu items at this time.
All students eat for free!
Early Childhood classrooms are found in several of our schools throughout the district. If your child is in an Early Childhood Program within Pittsburgh Public Schools, he/she will be eating from the Early Childhood menu that corresponds with their school type.
