Is Rao's a good place to order takeout?
Considering the hundreds of Italian restaurants in the city, there's no good reason to order from Rao's. (this was a takeout order) I actually had extremely low expectations for takeout at Raos but decided to try anyways because of the famous name and window of opportunity for takeout during the pandemic.

Nicky the Vest, Rao's legendary bartender, is still there. These days he walks around rather than spending much time making drinks. It'll still a scene, primarily because you can only get in if you've been a long-time patron and remember to keep going regularly.
