What are the River Belle Terrace Fantasmic! Dining Packages?
The River Belle Terrace Restaurant is located directly across from the Rivers of America and has two great options when it comes to Fantasmic! Dining Packages. For the first option, guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at the River Belle Terrace and choose seating either inside the restaurant or outside on the patio.
The River Belle Terrace Restaurant Atmosphere
Located on the corner of Frontierland and New Orleans Square, this classic table-service restaurant offers guests the comfort of meals that are savory enough to feel like they are home-cooked. For the Fantasmic! Dining Package Upgrade Option, dining is restricted to the outside patio under the dark night sky.
Fantasmic! Dining Package! 8pm Upgrade Experience
My family and I were relieved (and a bit surprised) when we arrived 15 minutes early to our 8pm dining reservations. For this seating, guests must line up at the exit of the River Belle Terrace Restaurant right next to the entrance to Tarzan's Treehouse. Cast Members checked us in and within 5 minutes we were being seated and served our drinks.
The Menu
For starters, guests have a choice of a house salad or corn chowder. My two daughters and myself chose the corn chowder. The creamy blend of corn and potatoes garnished with crunchy bacon bits was a delicious starter to what was to come.
Viewing Fantasmic! from the River Belle Terrace Patio
Our view of the show was good. We were able to clearly see Mickey on the stage directly in front of us. It was a bit tough to catch the scenes playing against the sprays of water from where we were seated, but not bad enough to feel any different of our experience.
Stay Seated for the Fireworks Show After Fantasmic!
An additional bonus to this experience was our view of the Remember… Dreams Come True Fireworks show. We were allowed to stay seated and watch the fireworks from our seats. The view was a bit obstructed by trees, but nonetheless spectacular!
What time does River Belle Terrace open for kids?
Infants (up to age 2) – FREE (children age 2 and under do not have to pay for the meal and do not have to have a FASTPASS to enter the viewing area; a meal will not be provided to your child; he or she can eat off your plate) Dining times for River Belle Terrace start each day at 4:00pm.
Does River Belle Terrace have lighting?
This section is elevated, so the guests standing in front of you in the other sections shouldn’t block your view. River Belle Terrace does have lighting, though, so you’re not watching from darkness, as you would other sections, which can inhibit the experience a bit.
