Coit Dining Hall
The Coit Dining Hall offers three separate dining rooms to relax and enjoy a meal – the Upper, the Middle, the Lower. Our dining halls offer full breakfast, lunch and dinner items and healthy, between-meal snacks throughout the day.
Community Center
The "Grab 'n Go" Deli Bar lunch offers a quick, convenient alternative to cafeteria lunch and is available in the Community Center.

Traditions & Occasions
The dining experience is enriched by unique traditions and occasions that bring our community closer together. At Seated Meals, we share a family-style dinner wherein faculty and student leaders host tables with those in the School they might not otherwise get to know.
Food Safety
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free meals are available at every meal. We do not cook with nut oils; nuts are kept in closed bins in a separately designated area of the dining hall, and any foods containing nuts are clearly labeled.

All Seattle Public School students, regardless of family income, will have access to nutritious meals at no cost throughout the 2021-22 school year thanks to a program provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

School meals provide approximately one-quarter (1/4) of the Required Daily Intake for breakfast and one-third (1/3) of the Required Daily Intake at lunch for calories, vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium.
When was school lunch created?
Our modern school lunch program was formed from the National School Lunch Act of 1946. The federal laws regulating school food services are administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) through the Virginia Department of Education.
