Now the opportunity to eat “real-deal” tacos in a casual, independent, not-your-standard-Mexican restaurant is available to all. At Taco Republic we use traditional Mexican meats like Barbacoa and Cochinita Pibil atop authentic tortillas and topped with the freshest ingredients. We create ethnic street food by slow cooking, smoking and braising meats to get the simplicity of freshness and exquisite flavor. Taco Republic establishes a new category of neighborhood taco shop in the Midwest, producing casual comfort and extreme value in a unique environment.
Is taco republic good?
We always enjoy Taco Republic. The food is good. The margaritas are good. My husband can find a fun beer. Close to home. Reasonably priced. Motown music. Very casual and comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality, Taco Republic!
Does Taco Republic have an open table?
Taco Republic does not use open table. I put our name on the waitlist only to arrive and be told they do not use it at all. Not sure why they are still on there, but don’t use the waitlist feature and expect to get a seat.
Is Carnitas taco good?
First time here; we were not disappointed! The carnitas taco was really good.
