Are the vortex burgers vegan?
*NOTE: While the Impossible Burger patty is technically vegan, please be aware that The Vortex does not employ vegan cooking practices. We whip-up stock pots of love from scratch every day. Our chili is served with homemade cornbread, and can be topped with shredded cheese, diced onion and/or sour cream.
What are the basic burgers at Vortex?
At The Vortex, these burgers always come topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and dill Pickle slices.
Can you order appetizers at the vortex?
These are a few secret variations to the appetizers we offer every day. While they’re good for sharing, you can always order one all for yourself. At The Vortex, we’re not about judgment – unless its bad judgment.
Can you use vortex salt on French fries?
We keep a shaker of our (super-special secret recipe) Vortex seasoning salt in our kitchen. We like to sprinkle it on our French Fries. You can too, if you ask real nice – Free upon request (when available)
What is in a stock pot of love?
whip-up stock pots of love from scratch every day. Our chili is served with homemade cornbread, and can be topped with shredded cheese, diced onion and/or sour cream. Our soup comes with Ritz® crackers.
Can you sell wine at Vortex?
By law, The Vortex is not permitted to sell any alcoholic beverages “to-go” with the exception of opened bottles of wine that are not finished by patrons when dining in-house. These bottles may be re-corked and be taken home by the customer. No other alcoholic beverage may leave our premises at any time.
Is Vortex a take out restaurant?
That’s why, on occasion, we will suspend take-out orders during peak business periods. Sorry, but when we’re really busy, that’s just the way it has to be. If we don’t answer the phone, that is a good indication that we ARE too busy. If we do answer and tell you take-out is currently not available, don’t cry. Don’t yell. Don’t throwa fit. That won’t change anything. It’ll just make you look like a spoiled little whiner.
