Who decorates the lunchroom in Walker County Schools?
Curry ElemMiddle School lunchroom has been decorated by {Santa's Helpers}. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office enjoyed assisting the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board with a presentation today at Dora High School. Remember, the legal age to consume alcohol or tobacco products in Alabama is 21!
Are meals free in the school cafeteria?
Free meals for all students will continue through the end of the 2021-22 school year. Even if your child wants to bring lunch from home they can supplement it with items from the cafeteria such as milk, fruit, and vegetables- free of charge. Again, Breakfast and lunch are free to all students through the end of the 2021-22 School Year.

Which schools were involved in the Walker County archery tournament?
Elementary, middle and high school archers from Cordova and Oakman were present. Other Walker County schools participating were Sumiton Elementary, Valley Elementary and Valley Junior High. Thank you Mountain Eagle. We are so proud of our Blue Arrows for placing 1st in the weekend tournament!

When will students receive free lunch in 2021?
Students will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE through Sept. 30, 2021. However, it is very important that parents complete a free/reduced meals application if they haven’t yet for this school year 2020-2021 if they have not already been approved for free/reduced meals or if their income has changed.
Who are the girls golfers in the All County Golf Team?
Members of the All-County girls golf team are from the left, Anna Claire Martin, Kaitlynn Duncan, Gracie Tubbs, and Jolie Morris. Anna Claire Martin was the low medalist shooting a 95. Members of the All County Golf team are Max Zinn, Eli Williams, AJ Freemen, Daniel Martin and Sebastain Whitten.
