During the Nov. 8, 2021, Wilson County Board of Education meeting, the Board voted to change Wed., Nov. 24 from an early release day to an optional teacher workday, which means students will not be in school.

How many classrooms will Wilson County have in 2021?
On Monday, April 12th, 2021 the Wilson County Schools Board of Education passed a motion that would add 20 temporary units to equal 40 classrooms, with the capacity of 20 students per classroom on SCE’s traditional site. This will go into effect at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, and will sustain through the duration of the SCE rebuild project.
