Is currywurst good at Oktoberfest?
They were definitely busy thanks to this week's ode to Oktoberfest. The currywurst was really good, especially the curry sauce. I was surprised because I'd heard it described as a curry-flavored ketchup (I don't like ketchup) when in fact, it's more like a curry flavored marinara.
Is currywurst a bratwurst?
It was nice and moist, and had flavor on its own. She also explained to me that the the currywurst is the bratwurst in a marinara-type sauce and it's the German version of curry. It sounded pretty good, so I ordered the currywurst with the spaetzle as my side. For 9 bucks including tax, it was a great deal.
