Patient Meals & Hospital Cafeteria
A personal choice dining host or hostess is assigned to each patient throughout the day. The host or hostess will discuss the meals of the day and will personally assemble your food requests. For questions regarding your food service, please speak to your host or hostess.
Food menu variety
We offer American cuisine as well as Kosher, Asian, Latino, vegetarian and children’s meals.
Hospital cafeteria
Located on Level B near the Blue Elevators, the cafeteria offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Kosher meals are available daily. Food vending machines are located next to the cafeteria and are available 24 hours a day.
Where is the vending machine room in the University of Texas?
Vending Areas. A vending machine room, located on the first floor at the corner of the B1 and Diagnostic Testing hallways, is available 24-hours-a-day for beverages and snacks. Another vending room is located on the ground floor to the right of the cafeteria entrance.
What time does the deli open for lunch?
Lunch: 11:30 a.m . to 1:30 p.m. Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Salad bar, deli bar and grab-n-go items are available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that due to possible dietary restrictions, menu items from the cafeteria cannot be purchased for patients.
What time does the Spanish interpreter work at the hospital?
Spanish interpreters on staff are generally available in the hospital Monda y through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What time does the Snack Bar open?
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Does Gettysburg Hospital have color TV?
Remote-controlled color television is provided in every patient room as a free service and is complements of Gettysburg Hospital Foundation. We offer access to local channels and many of your favorite cable channels. We also encourage patients and their visitors to review our patient education channel, which provides important information designed to explain hospital programs and policies and to provide information to aid patients in their recovery.
