How many people can be in the Bar J Chuckwagon?
With a seating capacity of over 650 people, it may surprise many to know that we serve all our guests in less than 25 minutes. We can easily handle tour groups or convention parties with true western hospitality. The gates open at 5:30pm and the dinner bell rings promptly at 7:00pm. For the best seats come early. Visit our western village where gift shops await, take a train ride through scenic attraction
What time is Chuck Wagon Dinner?
The food is served at 6:45 pm, but most people start lining up at 4:30 in order to stand in line until 5:30 to buy tickets and a seat assignment. At 5:30, after paying, you have to wander the property for an hour and 15 minutes until the meal is served. The food is mediocre at best - grizzly steak, over cooked ribs, overly baked potatoes - not a fresh fruit or green vegetable in site - to give it that cow boy cattle drive authenticity.
