Is Baron&beef in Kinston NC good?
We lived in Kinston many years ago and ate at the Baron & Beef often. The food and service was always excellent. Tonight was not what I expected. The service was still excellent but the steaks reminded me of the steak you would get from a chain restaurant. Very disappointed.

We went to the Baron and Beef for supper on Saturday night. Place was crowded. Wait... was not to bad, everyone waiting was friendly and talkative. Waitress very good, informative and attentive to our table.

Start your review of Baron & The Beef. I didn't come to this restaurant for years until about a year ago. Formerly, the steak preparation was frequently overdone and the meat quality seemed to really be hit-or-miss. However if you haven't been in a while, it's worth giving another try.
