Chicken Shack is a restaurant franchise in the United States. In 1956, John and Iola Sobeck founded the first one in Royal Oak, Michigan. It accomplished this well, and some years later a second Royal Oak site was established. It now has 21 sites across the wider area of Detroit. John Sobeck and his wife Iola co-founded Chicken Shack.
