A new Italian marketplace is open in the Pearl District, slinging Roman-style pizza, pasta, flowers, coffee, and local goods including produce, meat, and dairy. Cooperativa comes from chef Sarah Schafer and Anna Caporael, previously of the now-shuttered Irving Street Kitchen.
What kind of pizza is at Cooperativa?
The square, Roman-style pan pizza is offered by the slice, half slice, and full pie for taking home or enjoying on the patio. The market will also house a bar, espresso counter, and gelato stand once it’s fully ready to go, but Cooperativa isn’t there just yet.
