Welcome to Dickinson College Dining Services Catering. Our services are available to the entire College and local community. Catering Services welcomes your patronage and wishes to be of service to you. We recommend that you review our Catering Guidelines for helpful information and to ensure a successful event.
Availability
Dining Services is periodically unavailable to fulfill orders due to other scheduled engagements and unforeseen circumstances. The department keeps an updated calendar (below) with unavailable dates and times as a convenience to those wishing to plan events.
Reserving Space
If your event will be held on campus, it is necessary to first reserve a room with the Office of Conferences and Special Events (717-245-1900) - CASE. It is important to book your event well in advance to guarantee the availability of space and Dining Services. Room setup requests are handled by CASE.
What is a gluten free station?
Gluten-free station - gluten-free meals, breads, beverages, waffles, and desserts in a separate preparation area. Two homemade soups - always one vegetarian and/or gluten-free choice. Ice cream, non-dairy sorbet, and frozen yogurt - make your own sundaes or cones and Monday night Snow Devils.
Is the Dining Hall open?
Open seven days a week for 20 meal periods, the Dining Hall is an all-you-care-to-eat cafeteria-style facility. A 50-item salad bar plus salad dressings and seasonings, deli bar, two made-from-scratch soup offerings and three separate entrées for lunch and dinner ensure there's something for everyone. Vegetarian, vegan, organic non-gmo cereal, gluten-free and kosher entrées also are available. All meal plans are accepted at all times.
Four Seasons Café
Located on the lower level of the hospital, the Four Seasons Café offers a pleasant place to enjoy a meal while visiting with family and friends. When weather conditions permit, visitors may dine at picnic tables on the patio, located on a terrace just outside the Four Seasons Café.
Good Food Prepared Fresh
Our Four Season’s Café team takes great pride in preparing warm entrées for breakfast and lunch. Please check the daily menu located in the café. You can also enjoy a delicious selection of salads, prepared sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.
What is Cooley Dickinson's Friends?
The Friends of Cooley Dickinson sponsor the ever-changing panorama of drawings, paintings, photographs, digital prints and other media that festoon the walls of the hospital’s North and West galleries, and also in the medical building at 22 Atwood Drive . Art displayed is by artists from the local community and rotates monthly to keep offerings fresh, maximize exposure for as many local artists as possible and to allow for celebratory monthly openings with food, drink and occasional live music.

Visitors to Cooley Dickinson Hospital have access to a number of on-site amenities, including food and drink, coffee, an ATM and vending machines. Refer to the more detailed descriptions below for building locations and business hours.
What time does the coffee shop open in the cafeteria?
The Coffee Shop has a comfortable dining area and even some outside tables to sit at during the warmer months. Coffee Shop hours are Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sat-Sun 11 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, call 413-582-2253.
What time does the hospital cafeteria open?
Hours are 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. p.m., and the daily menu can be accessed by calling 413-582-2469. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
Where are vending machines in the emergency department?
Snacks and cold beverages are available at all hours from variously located vending machines, which can be found on the Ground floor on the opposite end of the hallway from the Cafeteria, in the Emergency Department waiting area, and at North Entrance Lobby.
