What are the best things to eat at Everytable?
Staff there are very nice and enthusiastic about Everytable. Hot Bowls (microwave for two minutes): Puebla Chicken Tinga, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Cajun Blackened Fish, Pozole Rojo, Yucatan Chili. I liked everything. Some folks I know said some of the items were too spicy, but to me it's more mild and hardly noticeable.

The team is able to keep prices low at Everytable — items range from $2.95 to $4.50 in South LA — because the small, grab-and-go store saves on rent and doesn't have many employees, Polk says. Meals are prepared in bulk at an off-site kitchen and delivered to the store, which keeps production costs down.

In December 2019, our board approved our largest program-related investment (PRI) to date, a $1.5 million dollar low-interest loan to Everytable, a Los Angeles-based for-profit public benefit company. This is the first time we've made a PRI into a for-profit company.

During this pandemic, they partnered with the City to provide emergency meals for seniors (like a free subscription), which I think is fantastic.#N#The price of the meals depends on the location, so in the non-affluent area, meals can be $4 - $8 ish. I only like certain things and even though I don't enjoy certain dishes, I am sure someone might enjoy it or have some dietary needs. I dine-out, take-out, and order-in foods from many places, so I do not commit to a subscription, but I used to take advantage of deals when they had them.
