There was a huge line, and we quickly realized it wasn't moving. There is one lady taking orders, and one person cooking; this can definitely work for a burger joint. However, the lady takes your order and then just waits for the cook to start and finish that order before taking the next order. INCREDIBLY SLOW.
Is Oak Island a good place to eat burgers?
This place is not a fine dining destination it's a best burger you can get place. Very simple menu, various sizes of burgers with fries and some sodas. That's it. It's very good, cheap and fast and friendly people. I go there every time I take a vacation to Oak island.
