Tex-Mex is a popular cuisine in Texas and Cantina Del Rio has some of the best dishes around. The menu features a wide array of taco, enchiladas and fajitas as well as some hamburgers. There are also some tasty nachos and fajitas available as well as some great appetizers such as homemade pico de gallo and salsa.

While not a typical restaurant, Gruene Barbecue Company still offers great local barbecue. This food truck features a host of homemade options crafted with family recipes with many of the meats smoked fresh. Meat options include brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, turkey and pulled pork as well as sandwiches and a host of sides.

GRISTMILL RESTAURANT AND BAR
Gristmill's menu centers on fish, chicken, steak and hamburgers with a wide array of salads, appetizers and vegetables. Most dishes are made from scratch on a daily basis and the restaurant says it uses the "freshest possible ingredients." Gristmill also features a great selection of wines, margaritas and a full bar.
