What is Hewitt dining hall like?
The Hewitt Dining Hall is located on the lower level and is accessible from the tunnel level of Barnard Hall. Dining Services is located on the mezzanine level (accessible via stairs from the first floor). Mostly singles (and a few doubles & triples). Corridor-style dorm rooms ( floor plans) Shared floor bathroom, cleaned daily by Facilities.
Is Hewitt a kosher restaurant?
Open 7 days a week, Hewitt offers a wide variety of foods and is very friendly to people with dietary restrictions. Hewitt has a full kosher kitchen, halal meals, a gluten free section, vegan and vegetarian options, and labels on the menu and at each station that say if the food contains common allergens.
How do I get to the 8th floor of Hewitt?
The 8th floor of Hewitt is reached by steps from the 8th floors or Sulzberger & Brooks and is not wheelchair accessible (those floors are accessible by the Sulzberger & Reid elevators) Hewitt does not have air-conditioning.
Where is the laundry room in Hewett Manchester?
The laundry rooms in Hewett-Manchester are located in the basement of each building and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Laundry is included in your room rate for the year, so feel free to wash and dry to your heart's content! Either HE (high efficiency) or regular detergent may be used.
Is Hewett Manchester open?
All provided room furniture is moveable with beds that can be lofted and bunked to various heights. Hewett-Manchester has nine-month housing, which means it remains open through all university breaks.

First year students living in campus housing are required to enroll in the Platinum Plan (regardless of which residence hall they are assigned to).
