Hidden Oak Café is a hidden gem on the south shore. Their location is picture perfect, with seating inside the historic house or on the patio overlooking the lawn straight down to the water. Everything I've ate or drank here is nothing short of perfect.

Similarly, the Smoked Salmon Sandwich was bursting with salmon, but needed a bit more flavor. I'd have added some red onions or kippers. While not explicitly on the menu, Hidden Oak Cafe has an extensive tea menu. Nothing tops sitting outdoors, a light meal in front of you while sipping some delicious tea.
