Just a quick update - Hiroshi's has raised their prices and it's crazy to think they've only raised a whole dollar in the past 4 years (2017 - now). In 2017, 2 poke choices was $10.49 and 1 poke was $8.99. Additional choices were $2.50 more.

In 2017, 2 poke choices was $10.49 and 1 poke was $8.99. Additional choices were $2.50 more. Now in 2021 as the year ends, 2 poke choices is $11.49 and 1 poke is $9.99.
Where can I get the biggest bowl of Poke in Honolulu?
For $10-11, they give you the biggest bowl of poke I've ever seen. Hiroshi's combines the best of Hawaiian and mainland poke. Like many mainland places, they give you a large selection of toppings and sauces you can add to your bowl.
What are the downsides of Hiroshi's?
The major downside to Hiroshi's is that they specialize in just Tuna. They have Lomi Lomi Salmon but it's over citrusy and they're not going to change that up. It's definitely one of the less popular fish choices. From what I've seen, the two most people opt for are Spicy Tuna and The Original.
What does sushi rice taste like?
Two points for the portion size but otherwise, this was disappointing. The sushi rice just tasted like regular rice. The fish was kind of tough and everything else tasted like it had been sitting out at room temperature for too long.
Is poke too expensive?
Always a solid choice for poke. Not too expensive for what it is and with great flavors/options.
Is poke bowl good?
Poke bowls (Sep 2020) Poke is p good! I got the two choice poke bowl with the ahi tuna and lomi salmon. However, they don't have a huge choice of meats, and the meat they have ie the tuna, etc is already marinated ie the lomi salmon.
