When did Ivanhoe Cafe open?
In 1909 the Ivanhoe Café opened its doors as a bar, gas station, and a small shoe store. By all rights the bar must have been the best of all three. In the 1930’s the family decided to add on a large kitchen to expand the business from a bar to a restaurant.
