What is lunch plus?
Beyond meeting an essential nutritional need, these Lunch Plus program volunteers offer a friendly voice over the phone after delivery, providing a human connection and serving as a trusted resource and link to social services for older residents, many of whom live alone and have been isolated due to health and safety concerns during the pandemic.

Previously serving hot kosher lunches six days a week at the Warrensville Community Apartments, the Lunch Plus program now provides three freshly prepared kosher meals twice weekly delivered to the doors of more than 50 senior residents in need.

House Salad
Mixed greens, cucumbers, carrots, tomato, eggs, broccoli, mushrooms, dried cranberries and homemade creamy balsamic vinaigrette.

Baby spinach, tomato, sliced eggs, sliced mushrooms, candied walnuts, bacon and homemade apple cider vinaigrette.
Caesar Salad
Romaine lettuce, shaved Reggiano cheese, croutons and homemade Caesar dressing.
Arugula Salad
Baby arugula, tomato, red onions, sliced beets, candied pecans, crumbled blue cheese and homemade raspberry vinaigrette.
BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Canadian baby back ribs slathered with BBQ sauce and served with choice of side.
Dry Rub Ribs
Canadian baby back ribs in savory garlic and Cajun seasoning. Served with choice of side.
