September, 2020 Food Service Update
The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) announced the extension of critical waivers that will allow the continued operation of the Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option through December 31, 2020. This program will start in school on September 3, 2020. Distribution of meals will start on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Is there a free lunch in 2021?
Free and reduced lunch - The U.S.D.A. extended free school lunch for all students for the 2021-22 school year. Families who qualify for free and reduced lunch are still encouraged to fill out the online application as the free and reduced status determines eligibility for other programs.

BPS Community Education Mid-Winter Break Camps
BPS Community Education Mid-Winter Break Camps (February 21-25) for grades K-5 are online now at www.communityed.net. Great choices offered 9 a.m.-3 p.m. programs by Kids Empowered, Skyhawks and Challenge Island! All camps are at Birmingham Covington School. Kids Club offered 7:30-9 a.m. and 3-5:30 p.m.
Birmingham Volleyball Club!!
Seaholm Varsity Coach/Berkshire Teacher Heather Gambone and Groves Varsity Coach/BCS Teacher: Madison Close are offering Sunday Volleyball Camps for students grades 1st-6th! Camps will run from 1pm-3pm @Seaholm High School. Session 1 will begin on March 6th and run until April 24th. There will be no camp March 27th or April 17th.
BPS Saturday School at Berkshire Returns 9-11 AM
The BPS Saturday School is back again this year and running virtually throughout the 2021-2022 school year. The BPS Saturday School provides free tutoring for BPS students grades K – 12 who need help in any grade level and in any academic area.
Birmingham Girls Softball – Registration Now Open!
Birmingham Girls Softball returns for its 23rd season! BGS is southeast Oakland County’s largest girls recreational softball league with over 300 players. Online registration is now open at www.birminghamsoftball.com.
