What is mezzo mezzo?

Mezzo is a casual eatery offering salads, sandwiches, and soups all made right in front of you, exactly how you'd like it. Known for our homemade ingredients and cheery environment, we have been here serving up our delicious honey wheat bread and poppyseed dressing since 1983.

What happened to mezzo Cafe?

Mezzo re-opened in June 2017 after burning down in 2011. Since reopening, we have evolved and updated our name (formerly Cafe Intermezzo), but have kept our menu full of the classics.

What is there to do at mezzo?

Walking through the restaurant leads to one of the largest outdoor patios in the area with a bocce court and bean bag toss. Mezzo is fully connected to Raleigh's, the bar next door. Come grab a salad or sandwich then head up the ramp to pair it with a delicious local craft beer!

When did mezzo re-open?

The updated interior space includes modern touches while integrating some charming and funky pieces from the original cafe.

Seafood marinara with salmon, clams and mussels served over linguine pasta.

Mixed greens and iceberg lettuce, pears, Gorgonzola cheese and candied walnuts served with a French vinaigrette.

What is the salad dressing for iceberg lettuce?

Chopped romaine and iceberg lettuce tossed with salami, tomatoes, green peppers, olives, red onions, blue cheese crumbles and mozzarella with a sweet basil vinaigrette dressing.

What dressing is used for Hearts of Romaine?

Hearts of romaine tossed in a house made Caesar dressing with croutons.

What is the dressing on ahi tuna?

sesame encrusted Ahi tuna topped with a mango salsa served with baby spinach tossed with white balsamic asiago cheese dressing

penne noodles tossed with red onions, red peppers and black tiger shrimp in a brandy blush sauce crowned with a 6oz lobster tail
