What is Nico's famous for?
When Nico's first opened many years ago, they quickly became famous for their auction-fresh fish, and specifically for their furikake crusted seared ahi. Daily specials changed depending on availability at auction, and the menu evolved as new items brought in their own followings. Working out of a tiny space, the lines were long and the food was amazing.

Is Nimitz a fast food restaurant?
Though you can get table service, it is more efficient to go order at the counter and then be seated. It was difficult to find the entrance. However there is a sign pointing to the pier. The parking was on the street at the restaurant or behind some other buildings. It is a building closer to Nimitz than some other buildings and on the water. You can sit outside and watch the container ships loading their cargo. The restaurant itself is pretty large-outside seating more limited. The fish was ok but there are better seafood restaurants in the area.
