What is Passero?
Passero features seasonal Italian-American cuisine, located in downtown Arlington Heights. It is the collaboration of Italian-American heritage over many generations and the culinary interpretations of Chef Matt Peota. By sourcing ingredients from the surrounding areas, the dishes also reflect the seasonality of the Midwest.
Is Passero worth the cost?
Passero can be on the pricey side, particularly if you enjoy multiple courses, but it's well worth it for a special occasion or just a fun splurge. I ate at Passero with a friend on Aug. 8. It was the first time since we'd been there since Passero moved from the tiny location a few blocks away.
What kind of coffee does Passero's have?
Passero's offers organic green, white, herbal, and black teas. Passero's locally-roasted organic & fair trade coffee. A caffe latte mixed with chocolate. Coffee with one shot of espresso added. Coffee with two shots of espresso added. Half coffee and half steamed milk.
