I'd like to ask you guys when possible, to add a shortcut or even a separately option (.exe) for open Desktop menu without having to open retroarch. It is not a big deal but, why not add it!

It wasn't really designed to be used without the main RetroArch window, because that's where the content is displayed and other menus would be used from.

I see. Thanks for clarifying, there is something that bothers me in this menu the fact that I do not have a button to - after making some change - confirm I want to save what I did. this may be a bug, I do not know.

Sure! First time in when I tried to configure my BIOS dir. (View > Options...Directory) at Sytem/BiOS I've tried to browse it the path, then realize there was not OK or Apply button in this menu. I thought: hm, maybe It just meant to be this way. let me just close this thing....

I can't reproduce, the settings apply immediately and are reflected on the menu. For saving them the usual procedure applies (Main Menu > Configuration File > Save or closing RetroArch is saving on exit is enabled)

I think that isn't not only counterintuitive to have another window running in background (even if aren't shown when setting the video display to "null") but also has the potential to cause errors. I would like the option to use the Qt Desktop Menu fully independent as all the features of RetroArch is now possible to use in Qt Desktop menu.
