El Jefe

This grain bowl is the “The Boss”. The Jefe has a Southwestern flavor profile. The charred corn adds a sweet and smoky flavor. Make it the “the works” by asking for a squeeze of fresh lime and a dash of tabasco to give this bowl an awesome balance of spice and acidity that excites but doesn’t overwhelm the palate.

Pesto Caesar

Our Caesar is brightened up with the addition of Pesto vinaigrette. Lime pickled onions and cherry tomatoes also bring acidity to make this often-heavy classic light and satisfying. Bulgur wheat and pita chips add delightful nuttiness and crunch. Ask for a shot of sriracha to kick it up a notch.

Roots Bowl

This savory bowl grain bowl gets its deep flavor from roasted sweet potatoes, tangy goat cheese, tart dried cranberries and crunchy pita chips. Ask for a splash of red wine vinegar to bring some extra punch.

Tamari

The Tamari’s Asian inspired flavor profile takes it cue from the green salad at a sushi restaurant. The miso tofu, roasted broccoli, and toasted almonds bring depth and nuttiness. Pickled carrots are sweet, sour, and spicy. Lastly, the miso ginger dressing provides a shot of flavor balancing sesame, ginger, miso, rice wine vinegar, and sriracha.

The Southern

The Southern is all about balancing flavors. Sweetness and depth from BBQ tofu. Smokiness and char from the chickpeas, broccoli, and corn. Bitterness from the kale. Acidity from the lime pickled onions. Sharpness from the cheddar cheese. The tahini dressing ties everything together with nuttiness and lemon.

Mayweather

The Mayweather has the unexpected but highly successful union of the pesto vinaigrette and tahini dressing. Roasted sweet potatoes, beets, and bulgur bring a distinct savory earthiness, while avocado and goat cheese add creaminess and tang.

Mad Bowl

This Italian inspired grain bowl has both pesto and basil balsamic dressing. Cannellini beans add creaminess while the shaved parmesan and herb grilled mushrooms double down on the “umami”.
