Thanks to an extension in federal funds, all children, whether attending school in- person or virtual, and regardless of free and reduced meal benefits status, are eligible for these free meals.
When is the San Angelo ISD free clinic?
San Angelo ISD will host an optional, free COVID-19 vaccine clinic in partnership with Shannon Medical Center on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, available for any interested SAISD employee and SAISD students 5 years of age and older at our PAYS School campus located at 1820 Knickerbocker Road. SAISD is offering the vaccine clinic to provide individuals who choose to be vaccinated or to vaccinate their children. The vaccine is now available for children ages 5-11.
When is the P-EBT application open?
Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) provides eligible families with benefits used to buy food from any retailer who accepts the Lone Star Card and is administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Texas Department of Agriculture, and the Texas Education Agency. The application for P-EBT will open on June 2, 2021 and is available for submission through August 13, 2021.
