Schlotzsky’s was founded by Don and Dolores Dissman in 1971 in Austin Texas. Then, real estate investors Gary Bradley, John Wooley and Jeff Wooley bought the company in 1981. There are now 350 stores worldwide, which are company-owned and franchised. Most of the restaurants are found in the US, but they’re still continuing to expand.
